About Shamirpet:
A beautiful offbeat place in hyderabad for a short hike. Located near Shameerpet, this place is a mix of forest and rocks and a perfect place to hike and do some adventure stuff most importantly it is right on the city's edge. This scenic landscape is filled with good boulders, offbeat lake and thick natural vegetation. The event begins directly with a scenic hike deep into the forest to navigate natural rock formations.
About the activity:
This is a beginner friendly forest hike where we learn some forest skills and enjoy the view of lake with some good pictures.

Day 1
🧭 Detailed Itinerary – (6:00 AM to 10:30 AM)

06:00 AM – Arrival, Check-In & Physical Warm-Up
- Attendance check and team introductions.
- Warm-up, joint mobility, dynamic stretching, and breath-ups to safely prep for the rocks.
07:00AM – The Adventure Trail: Hiking & bouldering
- Hiking: Trail movement pacing and foot placement guidelines on the uphill approach.
- Bouldering: Low-height maneuvering focusing on balance, weight distribution, and holds.
09:00 AM – Chimney Experience & Rock climbing
- Learn chimney technique and where we use it
- Rock Climbing: Mastering three-point contact and identifying crimps, jugs, pockets, and slopers
10:30 AM – Wrap-Up & Sayonara! 🖐🏼
Final group photographs, gear consolidation, open vote of thanks, and dispersal.
Things to Wear / Carry
Clothing
- Comfortable track pants/Trousers (Strictly no jeans or shorts.)
- T-shirt, preferably long-sleeved.
- Shoes with good sole grip are a must. Strictly no sandals or chappals.
- Cap, hat, goggles, and sunscreen.
- Sweater and raincoat as per the weather.
- Do not leave long hair open, especially for rappelling. Hair should not cover your face or eyes.
- No jewelry, including finger rings or earrings.
- Clip finger and toe nails to a comfortable length. Long nails are absolutely not allowed.
Packing List
- Two liters of water per person.
- Vegetables like cucumber, carrot, and radish. Fruits like banana, dates, apple, and orange.
- Minimal snacks, energy drinks (ORS, Electral), and dry fruits for the hike.
- A small backpack to carry the above items.
- One cover to carry your trash from the venue.
