Kids outdoor Boot Camp - Season 9

Dates: Dec 9th 4pm to Dec 13th 10am..

Age limit : 8ys to 13yrs (Parents will drop off kids at the location and kids have to stay alone for the duration of BootCamp)

Place: Kadthal forest Camp ClimbOn is an adventure club based out of Hyderabad that brings adventure enthusiasts together. It facilitates fun, informative, inspirational and recreational outdoor adventure experiences by organizing activities like trekking, outdoor climbing, hiking, bouldering, camping, adventure treks, sports, fitness events etc.

ClimbOn adventures club comes up with the Basic Out door boot camp for kids providing Out door training to adventure enthusiast

Field Pract

1. Climbing : Regular classes on climbing techniques and gears. Learn about side, upper, lower grips and use in regular practice on wall, tree and rock climbing. For wall climbing, we will be using top as well as bottom belays in practice and for rock climbing, we will practice bouldering and climbing using pitons.
2. Rappelling : We will practice rappelling. Understand the importance of belay and practice providing belay to other participants.
3. Forest survival techniques : Ever stayed alone in a forest? Ever cooked alone while backpacking? Learn more about camping, cooking in forests, how to be aware of animals in forest environment.
4. Mountaineering gears : Learn use of ropes, harnesses, pitons, carabiners, belay, figure of 8 in day to day practice of different mountaineering techniques.
5. Different types of Knots : ClimbOn will provide you regular classes on different knots to be used in different mountaineering techniques like Rappelling, Tree climbing, Wall Climbing. Make sure you practice this daily even after the course.
6. Self Defense : Learn techniques of self defense from animals and human attacks, useful in trekking and day to day life. BASIC

RULES OF THIS TRAINING PROGRAM

1. Once you join the training camp, you must follow trainer’s instructions.
2. You should not take any step without trainer’s permission.
3. Usage of mobile phones strictly not allowed for kids
4. During training, you might have to accommodate with whatever food we provide.
5. During training, you will not be allowed to go outside.
6. Trainer instruction is the final word and you are expected to accept. Sign up for the training if you are ready to follow the above mentioned instructions.
