Konkan Kada is a spectacular, overhanging, semi-circular cliff on Harishchandragad fort in Maharashtra, India, known for its dramatic views of the Konkan region, especially at sunrise and sunset, and for natural phenomena like vertical cloud bursts and circular rainbows. It's a challenging destination for trekkers and adventure enthusiasts, also famous for its "reverse waterfall" during monsoons, where strong winds make water appear to flow upwards.
Harishchandragad, a hill fort in the Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra, is one of the most challenging treks in the Western Ghats. Situated in the Malshej region of the ghats, Fort is quiet ancient, with its origin dating back to the sixth century.
There are caves situated all over the fort, believed to be carved out in the eleventh century. The various temples and carvings in the caves indicate that the fort belongs to the medieval period, since it is related to Shaiva or Naath. Later, the fort was under the control of the Moguls. And by 1747, the Marathas captured it.

10:00 PM: ( 3 tier AC ) via Mumbai express (22731) [Nampally]
Overnight journey towards Pune
Saturday
9:00 - Reach Pune and take private transport to the base.
10:00 to 2:00 - Travel to moroshi Village and take proper lunch in-between.
1:00 - Start for Harishchandragad/KonkanKada
20:00 - Dinner and rest for the day
Sunday
05:00- Knock-Knock, wake up time. Enjoy the sun rise and gear up for the rappelling for Konkan kada climb.
12:30-Pick up private transport to reach Pune
15:00-Some Vadapav and Lunch time.
17:30-Say Tata-Bye-Bye to Pune and board the train for Hyderabad.
Monday | Arrival
05:00AM: Reach Hyderabad, check out your luggage and don’t forget to say Bye-Bye to everyone.
Things to Wear / Carry
Clothing
- Comfortable track pants or trousers. Strictly no jeans or shorts.
- T-shirt, preferably long-sleeved.
- Shoes with good sole grip are a must. Strictly no sandals or chappals.
- Cap, hat, goggles, and sunscreen.
- Sweater and raincoat as per the weather.
- Do not leave long hair open, especially for rappelling. Hair should not cover your face or eyes.
- No jewelry, including finger rings or earrings.
- Clip finger and toe nails to a comfortable length. Long nails are absolutely not allowed.

- Two liters of water per person.
- Vegetables like cucumber, carrot, and radish. Fruits like banana, dates, apple, and orange.
- Minimal snacks, energy drinks (ORS, Electral), and dry fruits for the hike.
- A small backpack to carry the above items.
- One cover to carry your trash from the venue.

- Strictly no alcohol, intoxicants, strong drinks, or smoking from the start to the end of the event.
- All members should exercise social responsibility during the event and refrain from littering, shouting in wilderness areas, or engaging in any activities that could disrupt the natural ecology. A fine of Rs. 1000 will be charged if found littering.
- Event hosts retain the authority to adjust the itinerary as needed, including the addition or exclusion of members, and modifications to routes, activities, timings, and durations, depending on prevailing circumstances and weather conditions.
- The event host's decision is final in all matters. Our primary concern is ensuring everyone's safety, and we greatly appreciate your cooperation in this regard.

- A refund (excluding ticket cancellation charges) will only be issued if ClimbOn cancels the event due to unforeseen circumstances.
- If you cancel more than 7 days before the event and have paid the full amount, the balance (excluding the advance) will be refunded.
- No refund will be provided for cancellations made within 7 days of the event or in case of a no-show.
- Any additional costs incurred due to itinerary changes or delays caused by natural calamities, roadblocks, vehicle breakdowns, or other factors beyond our control will be borne by the participant.
The remaining balance is to be paid one week prior to the event.

🔹 Phase 2 (Late Registrations):
For those who join later, if regular tickets are unavailable, Tatkal tickets will be booked a day before departure (subject to availability).
