A beautiful place in hyderabad for a short hike. Located near PBEL City, on the road to Gandipet, this place is paradise filled with boulders.A great location for rock climbing, Chimney and scrambling. It is one of our favourites within the city for morning hike.

6:00 AM – Arrival & Warm-Up

  • Quick catch-up, attendance, and gear check
  • Introduction round
  • Safety briefing (Do’s, don’ts, gear usage)
  • Warm-up: stretching, joint mobility, breath-ups
  • Distribution of helmets, harnesses & basic gear

6:20 AM – Start the Adventure Trail

    Short uphill hike to the rock zone
    Basics of trail movement, pacing, and foot placement
  • βœ… Bouldering
    Low-height rock manoeuvring
    Balance, weight transfer, understanding natural holds
  • βœ… Rock Climbing
    Climbing small to medium rock faces
    Identifying holds (crimps, jugs, pockets, slopers)
    Three-point contact technique
    Body positioning, weight shifting & movement flow
  • βœ… Chimney Climbing
    Demonstration of chimney techniques
    Using counter-pressure and body wedging safely


7:45 AM – Rappelling Rotation Begins

If You Get Lost – Practical Steps
STOP Method:
S – Stop moving immediately
T – Think about last known location
O – Observe surroundings, landmarks, sounds
P – Plan your safe movement
Stay on higher ground for visibility
Follow water streams downhill (they lead to human settlements)
Leave markers (stones, sticks) behind for rescuers
Use whistle patterns (3 short blasts = distress signal)

Things to Wear / Carry

Clothing
  • Comfortable track pants/Trousers (Strictly no jeans or shorts.)
  • T-shirt, preferably long-sleeved.
  • Shoes with good sole grip are a must. Strictly no sandals or chappals.
  • Cap, hat, goggles, and sunscreen.
  • Sweater and raincoat as per the weather.
  • Do not leave long hair open, especially for rappelling. Hair should not cover your face or eyes.
  • No jewelry, including finger rings or earrings.
  • Clip finger and toe nails to a comfortable length. Long nails are absolutely not allowed.
Packing List
  • Two liters of water per person.
  • Vegetables like cucumber, carrot, and radish. Fruits like banana, dates, apple, and orange.
  • Minimal snacks, energy drinks (ORS, Electral), and dry fruits for the hike.
  • A small backpack to carry the above items.
  • One cover to carry your trash from the venue.
